No to war is yes to peace; no to hatred, an embracing yes to love; no to being labeled, sorted, measured, ranked and judged, an empowering yes to one’s own distinctive humanity and potential agency.

There’s an essential note here for the grown-ups, as well, those of us looking over our kids’ shoulders or listening in: we can, if we  choose, follow along as youth resist, rise up, and make their revolutions; we can learn the natural lessons of cooperation and simple fairness; and  we can work side by side, hand in hand to create something worthy of all the earth’s children—a world at peace and in balance, a place of joy and justice."
